DESCRIPTION:New Hope Church\, along with Sharon Hofer\, RN\, a community health nurse\, is hosting the Caring Together Fair\, Saturday\, May 2 from 10AM-4:30PM. It will include workshops for caregivers and tables featuring a wide range of resources for you and your loved one.Entry and all workshops are free and in person. All workshops are designed to help you gather information and ask questions about your specific needs.At the Caring Together Fair workshops\, you can build your toolkit with resource materials\, tools for navigating and advocating in the healthcare system\, and knowledge of what to do in a medical emergency\, during hospitalization\, and at discharge. You are invited to learn about Dementia and understand Alzheimer's\, as well as other types of conditions that lead to cognitive impairment\, such as Parkinson's\, and the challenges faced by caregivers.
